ROAD TO 2023 as Banky W joins PDP to contest for the Eti-Osa House of Representatives seat.

Banky Wellington, an actor and musician, is standing for the Eti-Osa House of Representatives seat in Lagos again, this time as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party. In 2019, he campaigned on the platform of the Modern Democratic Party, a little-known party founded in 2017. However, in the election held on February 23, 2019, he was defeated by Babajide Obanikoro of the All Progressives Congress. Banksy's party was de-registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission, along with 73 other minor parties, for poor electoral performance. The artist is counting on the PDP to help him realize his ambition of winning the seat.

"We must engage Nigeria where it is, not where we want it to be." "We sowed the seed in 2019," Banky said in a video released on Twitter. By the grace of God and with your help, we will win the seat in 2023." "The time for just talking is past. It is now time to #TalkAndDo. I'm hoping I can rely on you. "We're on the move." https://twitter.com/i/status/1509944790141612037
