| A general overview of the Huawei Mate XS 2 |
While Huawei has been tight-lipped about the Mate XS 2's specifications and other characteristics, a recent leak from well-known tipster Teme offers us a very good sense of what to anticipate from the phone. According to Teme's leaked renders, the Huawei Mate XS 2 will have the same design as the original Mate XS, with a wraparound display and a black strip on the back housing the camera sensors.
The interior display now incorporates a punch-hole selfie camera, which is a major adjustment. The initial model lacked a selfie camera. You had to use the rear camera for video calls and selfies, which was inconvenient.
The Huawei Mate XS 2 is rumoured to have an 8-inch OLED foldable display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, an improvement over the Mate X2's 90Hz panel. According to reports, the phone would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 4G chipset and will include a 4,500mAh battery with 66W rapid charging capabilities. The phone is also expected to feature the M-Pen stylus and will be available in Black, Gold, and Pink colours.
We may expect to learn more about Huawei's latest foldable at the company's official announcement event on April 28.
