CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINAL : Ancelotti names Real Madrid squad to face Chelsea in the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has chosen his team's squad to face Chelsea in the Champions League ahead of the quarter-final first leg on Wednesday. In a post on Real Madrid's official website on Monday, Ancelotti picked a 23-man squad to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Ancelotti had a short stint at Chelsea for two season (2009-2011) where he won the English Premier league and the FA cup once.



Real Madrid enters the game fresh off a 2-1 La Liga victory over Celta Vigo. The Champions League match begins at 8 p.m. Nigerian time. The following is Real Madrid's squad for their match against Chelsea:

Courtois, Lunin, and Fuidias are the goalkeepers.

Carvajal, E. Milito, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Marcelo, and Mendy are the defenders.

Kroos, Modri, Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas V., D. Ceballos, and Camavinga are the midfielders.

Benzema, Asensio, Bale, Vini Jr., Mariano and Rodrygo are the forwards. Eden HAzard fails to make the squad because he his injured for the rest of the season.
