PDP in a state of distress following the APC convention

Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abia State chapter, has stated that the victorious outcome of the party's recently concluded national convention has pushed the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, into complete chaos.

Ononogbu, who made the remarks while speaking to journalists in Umuahia, also predicted that the election of Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu as the APC's national chairman would bring good news to Nigerians. He referred to Adamu as "an experienced progressive whose contributions as a governor, Senator, and political leader are huge promises that brighter days are on their way for all Nigerians."

The Abia APC chairman welcomed the national Chairman and promised Abia APC's allegiance to the party's national leadership. "Senator Adamu's nomination at the convention and unanimous confirmation as Chairman attest to his popularity as a result of his dynamic leadership abilities, integrity, breadth of experience, and democratic leanings."

 

He also expressed delight with the delegates' maturity and urged all members, particularly those in Abia State, to cooperate with the new leadership to bring the state ahead.He remarked that the concept of a consensus arrangement demonstrates that the APC is still one big family where conflicts are settled amicably.
