THE OPPO RENO 7 4G IS NOW AVAILABLE WITH THE SNAPDRAGON 680 SOC.
While the Oppo Reno 8 series remains under wraps, Oppo continues to expand its Oppo Reno 7 series. Today, the Chinese company launches the Oppo Reno 7 4G in Indonesia. It is the first model to exclusively include LTE connectivity. After all, 5G connection is available on all Oppo Reno 7 smartphones. Oppo most likely recognizes the need for lower-cost smartphones with only 4G and is marketing the Reno series under that label. Anyway, the Oppo Reno 7 4G has here, complete with the specs sheet that we generally see on mid-range phone releases in 2022.
ABOUT THE OPPO RENO 7 4G TECHNOLOGY
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC powers the Oppo Reno 7 4G.The chipset is Qualcomm's replacement for the now-defunct Snapdragon 678. It's not a powerful chipset, but because to its 6 nm fabrication, it's one of the most efficient chips on the market. This chipset is included in a variety of smartphones, including the recently introduced Redmi Note 11. The device has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. These two specifications are unusual for a mid-range smartphone. The phone comes pre-installed with Color OS 12.1 and Android 12. This distinguishes the Oppo Reno 7 4G from other devices equipped with this processor. After all, there are still a plethora of Snapdragon 680-powered smartphones on the market that run Android.
The features are housed beneath a stunning 6.43-inch AMOLED display. It has a Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz. On top, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device supports HDR and has Widevine certification for HD HDR content from select streaming apps. The Oppo Reno 7 4G has a top-left punch-hole cutout that houses the 32 MP selfie camera. The Sony IMX709 sensor with an RGBW filter is used in this camera. It's a strong camera that can be found in several flagship products, like as the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
A triple-camera array covers the rear camera section. Unfortunately, only the primary camera with 64 MP is useful. A 2 MP macro shooter and a 2 MP depth module round out the other two sensors. To aid visibility in low-light conditions, the device includes an LED ring around one of its cameras. The Oppo Reno 7 is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging.
